What we collect through this website, why, and what we do with it.

This policy explains how Akohl Interiors ("we", "us") handles personal information collected through akohl.com.au.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us. If you submit the enquiry form, that is:
- Your name and email address (required)
- Your phone number, if you provide it
- The service you're interested in, and any budget or timeline range you select
- Whatever you write in the message field
We do not run advertising trackers on this site, and we do not use cookies to profile visitors. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers when a page loads.
Why we collect it
To answer your enquiry, recommend a service, quote for work, and — if you go ahead — to deliver that work and keep in touch about your project. We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a marketing list without your consent.
Who else handles it
Enquiries submitted through the form are processed and delivered to our inbox by Formspree, a third-party form service. Email we exchange with you is stored with our email provider. These providers store data on their own servers, which may be outside Australia. We choose providers who publish their own privacy and security terms.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't become projects are kept while they might still be useful to you and then deleted. Project records are kept for as long as we need them for business and tax purposes, and then deleted.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email hello@akohl.com.au and we'll action it. If you're not satisfied with how we've handled a privacy matter, you can raise it with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS, and form submissions are encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send sensitive information — identity documents, payment details — through the website form.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site handles information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
